| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Valley Land Title Company was established in |

| 6 | 6 | | 1919 by Ernest M. Smith; originally known as the Valley Abstract |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Company, the firm is committed to providing exemplary title |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | insurance products and services to facilitate real estate |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | transactions in Hidalgo County and throughout the Rio Grande |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Valley; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The company offers its clients a wide array of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | services from a team of experienced professionals that includes |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | abstractors, title examiners, tax personnel, escrow officers, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and real estate attorneys; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Today, under the leadership of chief executive |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | officer Paul R. Rodriguez, the Valley Land Title Company is known |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | for its reputation for excellence in handling all aspects of real |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | estate transactions, from preparing title memorandums to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | handling commercial and residential purchases and the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | refinancing of owner-occupied and investment property; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, For 100 years, the Valley Land Title Company has |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | provided outstanding service to the people of the Rio Grande |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Valley, and it is truly fitting that it receive special |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | recognition upon reaching this milestone in its history; now, |
|---|

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to the management and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | staff of the Valley Land Title Company for a memorable 100th |

| 29 | 29 | | anniversary celebration; and, be it further |
