SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 532
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Valley Land Title Company on the occasion of its
100th anniversary, which is being celebrated on April 4, 2019; and
WHEREAS, The Valley Land Title Company was established in
1919 by Ernest M. Smith; originally known as the Valley Abstract
Company, the firm is committed to providing exemplary title
insurance products and services to facilitate real estate
transactions in Hidalgo County and throughout the Rio Grande
Valley; and
WHEREAS, The company offers its clients a wide array of
services from a team of experienced professionals that includes
abstractors, title examiners, tax personnel, escrow officers,
and real estate attorneys; and
WHEREAS, Today, under the leadership of chief executive
officer Paul R. Rodriguez, the Valley Land Title Company is known
for its reputation for excellence in handling all aspects of real
estate transactions, from preparing title memorandums to
handling commercial and residential purchases and the
refinancing of owner-occupied and investment property; and
WHEREAS, For 100 years, the Valley Land Title Company has
provided outstanding service to the people of the Rio Grande
Valley, and it is truly fitting that it receive special
recognition upon reaching this milestone in its history; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th
Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to the management and
staff of the Valley Land Title Company for a memorable 100th
anniversary celebration; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the company as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
