| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Stuart R. Snow Jr. for his long and distinguished |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | career as a certified public accountant and a registered Texas |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | school business administrator; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Snow began his career in the Audit Division of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the noted accounting firm Deloitte and Touche, where he worked |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | for 11 years; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, He left the private sector to go into public |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | service in the field of public school business and finance; he |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | served with distinction as the chief financial officer for 11 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | years with the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | for 18 years with the Spring Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Through the years, he has worked closely with |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | members of the Texas Legislature to craft finance legislation |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | that has benefited school districts across the state; he has held |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | leadership positions in a wide range of community businesses and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | organizations, including the Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, the Houston Livestock Show and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Rodeo, and Cypress Bible Church; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Stuart Snow has played a vital role in the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | successful operation of the school districts in which he has served |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and of school districts across the state, and it is truly fitting |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | that he receive special recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature, hereby commend Stuart R. Snow Jr. on his outstanding |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | service in the field of public school finance and extend to him |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | it further |
