Dutton, Jr., Chair, House Committee on Public Education     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB1147 by Huberty (Relating to military readiness for purposes of the college, career, or military readiness outcomes bonus under the Foundation School Program.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would add enlistment in the Texas National Guard to the list of actions through which a graduate can demonstrate military readiness.This analysis assumes that costs associated with implementing the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.
