A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to research duties and reports of the workers'
compensation research and evaluation group.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 405.0025, Labor Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
(d) The report required under Subsection (b) must
separately evaluate the factors under Subsection (c) with respect
to the claims of first responders, as defined by Section 504.055.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
