The bill would amend the Occupations Code to direct the Board of Nursing (BON) to waive fee payment or continuing education requirements for certain applicants seeking to reinstate their licenses from inactive status during a state of disaster.It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources. BON does not anticipate that the bill's provisions would result in significant changes to the fee revenue generated.
