12 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
13 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 157.103(c), Government Code, is amended | |
14 | 10 | to read as follows: | |
15 | 11 | (c) Examinations shall be offered: | |
16 | 12 | (1) in person in each county with a population of | |
17 | 13 | 800,000 or more [the state] at least once [twice] a year at times | |
18 | 14 | and places designated by the director; or | |
19 | 15 | (2) in person at times and places designated by the | |
20 | 16 | director, if any, and online at least twice a year at times | |
21 | 17 | designated by the director. | |
22 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect January 1, 2022. | |
