| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 24.04(a), Alcoholic Beverage Code, as | |
| 11 | 11 | effective September 1, 2021, is amended to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (a) The owner of more than one wine only package store may | |
| 13 | 13 | designate one of the permit holder's places of business as a place | |
| 14 | 14 | of storage. The permit holder may transfer alcoholic beverages to | |
| 15 | 15 | and from the place of storage and the permit holder's other stores | |
| 16 | 16 | in the state [same county], subject to rules prescribed by the | |
| 17 | 17 | commission. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
