A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the transfer of alcoholic beverages between certain
permitted premises.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 24.04(a), Alcoholic Beverage Code, as
effective September 1, 2021, is amended to read as follows:
(a) The owner of more than one wine only package store may
designate one of the permit holder's places of business as a place
of storage. The permit holder may transfer alcoholic beverages to
and from the place of storage and the permit holder's other stores
in the state [same county], subject to rules prescribed by the
commission.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
