Murr, Chair, House Committee on Corrections     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: HB3457 by White (Relating to the applicability of certain laws to the Windham School District and teachers or administrators of the district.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would amend the Education Code as it relates to resignations from a term contract and confidentiality for teacher evaluations for Windham School District and its teachers and administrators. According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Texas Education Agency, the provisions of the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
