| 13 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 14 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 19.009, Education Code, is amended by |

| 15 | 11 | | adding Subsection (c-1) to read as follows: |

| 16 | 12 | | (c-1) Sections 21.210 and 21.355 apply to the Windham School |
|---|
| 17 | 13 | | District and a teacher or administrator employed by the district in |
|---|
| 18 | 14 | | the same manner as those sections apply to any other school district |
|---|
| 19 | 15 | | and a teacher or administrator employed by those school districts. |

| 20 | 16 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 21 | 17 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 22 | 18 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 23 | 19 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 24 | 20 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
