410 AN ACT
511 relating to the Rockwall County Juvenile Board.
612 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
713 SECTION 1. Section 152.2051(a), Human Resources Code, is
814 amended to read as follows:
915 (a) The Rockwall County Juvenile Board is composed of:
1016 (1) the judges of the county courts at law in Rockwall
1117 County [the judge of the County Court at Law of Rockwall County];
1218 (2) the district judges in Rockwall County;
1319 (3) one county commissioner appointed by the
1420 commissioners court;
1521 (4) one member of the board of trustees of the Rockwall
1622 Independent School District selected by the board of trustees of
1723 the Rockwall Independent School District; and
1824 (5) one member of the board of trustees of the Royse
1925 City Independent School District selected by the board of trustees
2026 of the Royse City Independent School District.
2127 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2228 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2329 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2430 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2531 Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
