| 6 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 7 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Section 152.2051(a), Human Resources Code, is |
|---|
| 8 | 14 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 9 | 15 | | (a) The Rockwall County Juvenile Board is composed of: |
|---|
| 10 | 16 | | (1) the judges of the county courts at law in Rockwall |
|---|
| 11 | 17 | | County [the judge of the County Court at Law of Rockwall County]; |
|---|
| 12 | 18 | | (2) the district judges in Rockwall County; |
|---|
| 13 | 19 | | (3) one county commissioner appointed by the |
|---|
| 14 | 20 | | commissioners court; |
|---|
| 15 | 21 | | (4) one member of the board of trustees of the Rockwall |
|---|
| 16 | 22 | | Independent School District selected by the board of trustees of |
|---|
| 17 | 23 | | the Rockwall Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 18 | 24 | | (5) one member of the board of trustees of the Royse |
|---|
| 19 | 25 | | City Independent School District selected by the board of trustees |
|---|
| 20 | 26 | | of the Royse City Independent School District. |

| 21 | 27 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 22 | 28 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 23 | 29 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 24 | 30 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 25 | 31 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
