H.R. No. 1349
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Houston Methodist Hospital has earned designation
as a Level II Special Care Nursery Neonatal Facility from the Texas
Department of State Health Services; and
WHEREAS, This recognition is awarded to those facilities that
go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital licensure
requirements to ensure the highest quality care for mothers and
their newborn babies; valid for three years, the credential
reflects an administrative and operational dedication to
improving, expediting, and standardizing neonatal treatment; and
WHEREAS, Houston Methodist Hospital offers a range of labor,
delivery, prenatal, postpartum, neonatal, and advanced obstetric
services, and its childbirth facilities are equipped with the
latest technology and staffed by skilled obstetricians,
gynecologists, maternity and neonatal nurses, and other medical
professionals who are dedicated to providing compassionate and
comprehensive care to expectant mothers; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception, Houston Methodist Hospital has
been a trusted resource to countless patients in the community, and
its designation as a Level II neonatal facility is a testament to
the institution's ongoing commitment to excellence; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Houston Methodist Hospital on its
designation as a Level II Special Care Nursery Neonatal Facility by
the Texas Department of State Health Services and extend to the
hospital's physicians, staff, and administrators sincere best
wishes for continued success in their important work; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Houston Methodist Hospital as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
