| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Frank Conselman has been elected to the board of |

| 6 | 7 | | trustees of the Rockwall Independent School District; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office, |

| 8 | 9 | | Mr. Conselman will draw on a wealth of valuable experience; he has |

| 9 | 10 | | been an active member of the PTA, and he is a former president of the |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | board of the Rockwall County YMCA, as well as the Rockwall Rotary |

| 11 | 12 | | Club, which has twice honored him with the Service Above Self Award; |

| 12 | 13 | | in 2017, he received the Carnegie Hero Medal for rescuing two men |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | from drowning while on vacation; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The owner of a successful local business, |

| 15 | 16 | | Mr. Conselman is an active member of First United Methodist Church |

| 16 | 17 | | of Rockwall; in all his endeavors, he benefits from the love and |

| 17 | 18 | | support of his wife, Nicole, as well as that of his four children, |

| 18 | 19 | | all of whom have attended Rockwall ISD schools; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The essential mission of educating young Texans |

| 20 | 21 | | depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our school board |

| 21 | 22 | | trustees, and Frank Conselman may indeed reflect with pride on his |

| 22 | 23 | | accomplishments as he takes on this challenging new role; now, |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
