H.R. No. 1479
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Frank Conselman has been elected to the board of
trustees of the Rockwall Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office,
Mr. Conselman will draw on a wealth of valuable experience; he has
been an active member of the PTA, and he is a former president of the
board of the Rockwall County YMCA, as well as the Rockwall Rotary
Club, which has twice honored him with the Service Above Self Award;
in 2017, he received the Carnegie Hero Medal for rescuing two men
from drowning while on vacation; and
WHEREAS, The owner of a successful local business,
Mr. Conselman is an active member of First United Methodist Church
of Rockwall; in all his endeavors, he benefits from the love and
support of his wife, Nicole, as well as that of his four children,
all of whom have attended Rockwall ISD schools; and
WHEREAS, The essential mission of educating young Texans
depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our school board
trustees, and Frank Conselman may indeed reflect with pride on his
accomplishments as he takes on this challenging new role; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Frank Conselman on his election to
the Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best
wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Conselman as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
