| 6 | 7 | | of Federico Falcon, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Eugenio Falcon and Emma Hinojosa Falcon |

| 9 | 10 | | of Rio Grande City, Federico Falcon was born on April 11, 1957, in |

| 10 | 11 | | Edinburg and grew up with three brothers, Antonio, Eugenio, and |

| 11 | 12 | | Jose; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Falcon served as a border patrol agent with U.S. |

| 13 | 14 | | Customs and Border Protection until his retirement in 2015; in his |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sports, |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | especially the games of his favorite team, the Houston Astros; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Falcon enjoyed the support |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | of his wife, Elvia Falcon, and he took great pride in his son, |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Eugene; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Although Federico Falcon is deeply missed, those who |

| 20 | 21 | | were privileged to share in his love and friendship will always |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | remember him with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Federico Falcon and |
