H.R. No. 1869 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories of Federico Falcon, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 63; and WHEREAS, The son of Eugenio Falcon and Emma Hinojosa Falcon of Rio Grande City, Federico Falcon was born on April 11, 1957, in Edinburg and grew up with three brothers, Antonio, Eugenio, and Jose; and WHEREAS, Mr. Falcon served as a border patrol agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection until his retirement in 2015; in his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sports, especially the games of his favorite team, the Houston Astros; and WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Falcon enjoyed the support of his wife, Elvia Falcon, and he took great pride in his son, Eugene; and WHEREAS, Although Federico Falcon is deeply missed, those who were privileged to share in his love and friendship will always remember him with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Federico Falcon and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Federico Falcon.
