| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |

| 6 | 7 | | of Michael Edwin Kendrick Jr. of Crockett, who passed away on |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Michael Edwin Kendrick Sr. and Joyce |

| 9 | 10 | | Dyches Kendrick, Eddie Kendrick was born on December 7, 1969, in |

| 10 | 11 | | Lufkin and grew up with a sister, Christi; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, In the course of his career, Mr. Kendrick was a CNC |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | machinist and programmer for Quantex Instruments for more than 20 |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | years; he worked in the maintenance department at Enchanted Pines, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | and he was admired for being able to build almost anything; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Kendrick enjoyed the love |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | and support of his wife, Karen, and he took great pride in his |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | daughters, Heather, Lauren, and Erin; with the passing years, he |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to include four |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | grandchildren, Canon, Hudson, Scarlett, and Jameson; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Although Eddie Kendrick is deeply missed, he has |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | forever treasure; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Michael Edwin |

| 25 | 26 | | Kendrick Jr. and extend heartfelt sympathy to all who mourn his |
