| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, William F. Garner Sr. was born in Hartselle, |

| 12 | 13 | | Alabama, on August 28, 1937, to Laura Orr and Willie Garner; |

| 13 | 14 | | answering his nation's call to duty, he served in the U.S. Air Force |

| 14 | 15 | | from 1958 to 1978; during his first marriage, to Geraldine Luckey, |

| 15 | 16 | | he became the proud father of three children, Deborah, William, and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Born on June 7, 1935, in Inverness, Mississippi, |

| 18 | 19 | | Addie Beatrice Garner was the ninth of the 14 children of Blain |

| 19 | 20 | | Quinn and Addie B. Brownlee; she grew up in the Midwest and attended |

| 20 | 21 | | business college in Cleveland, Ohio; in 1960, she married Ewing |

| 21 | 22 | | Ford and became the proud mother of three sons, Darrell, LaTeese, |

| 22 | 23 | | and China; after her first marriage ended in 1976, she moved to San |

| 23 | 24 | | Antonio, where she worked for a time at Sears; and |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, In 1986, William and Addie were married, and in July |

| 25 | 26 | | 1990, the couple opened Mr. and Mrs. G's Home Cooking and Pastries |

| 27 | 28 | | a local landmark, featuring soul food specialties and Mrs. Garner's |

| 29 | 30 | | they were welcoming hosts to everyone who entered their door; as the |

| 34 | 35 | | WHEREAS, Both Mr. and Mrs. Garner were profoundly religious; |

| 36 | 37 | | Greater Ball Tabernacle African Methodist Episcopal Church at the |

| 37 | 38 | | time of her passing; Mr. Garner was also an active member of the |

| 38 | 39 | | Rotary Club; the couple had the pleasure of seeing their blended |

| 39 | 40 | | family grow to include 13 grandchildren, Vicky, Michael, Zameika, |

| 40 | 41 | | Iyaesha, Tyreese, Yvonne, Crystal, William, Francis, Dimitria, |

| 41 | 42 | | Darryl, Tabyana, and Malik, 9 great-grandchildren, Dechele, |
