| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mark Ramsey has been honored with the Chairman's |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber presents the Chairman's Award |

| 9 | 10 | | to one of its members based on his or her professional experience, |

| 10 | 11 | | contributions to the chamber, community engagement, and |

| 11 | 12 | | demonstrated leadership abilities; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The founder and owner of Solutions Technology, a |

| 13 | 14 | | manufacturer of printer toner, Mr. Ramsey has served the chamber as |

| 14 | 15 | | vice chair II and as chair of the Live Local Committee; he has also |

| 15 | 16 | | served on the Economic Summit Committee; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In addition, Mr. Ramsey is a cofounder of 100 Men of |

| 17 | 18 | | East Dallas, the founder and president of the Bryan Adams Booster |

| 18 | 19 | | Club, and a former president of Dallas Little League Baseball, |

| 19 | 20 | | where he played a vital role in raising money to build the playing |

| 20 | 21 | | fields at Winfrey Point; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, The strength and cohesion of our communities are |

| 22 | 23 | | enhanced by the devoted efforts of individuals such as Mark Ramsey, |

| 23 | 24 | | whose tireless work has contributed immeasurably to the quality of |

| 24 | 25 | | life in East Dallas; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
