H.R. No. 1986
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mark Ramsey has been honored with the Chairman's
Award from the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce for his
outstanding service to the community; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber presents the Chairman's Award
to one of its members based on his or her professional experience,
contributions to the chamber, community engagement, and
demonstrated leadership abilities; and
WHEREAS, The founder and owner of Solutions Technology, a
manufacturer of printer toner, Mr. Ramsey has served the chamber as
vice chair II and as chair of the Live Local Committee; he has also
served on the Economic Summit Committee; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Mr. Ramsey is a cofounder of 100 Men of
East Dallas, the founder and president of the Bryan Adams Booster
Club, and a former president of Dallas Little League Baseball,
where he played a vital role in raising money to build the playing
fields at Winfrey Point; and
WHEREAS, The strength and cohesion of our communities are
enhanced by the devoted efforts of individuals such as Mark Ramsey,
whose tireless work has contributed immeasurably to the quality of
life in East Dallas; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mark Ramsey on his receipt of the
Chairman's Award from the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Ramsey as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
