 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Grady Elliott retired from the board of United
 Heritage Credit Union in 2020, concluding a distinguished tenure
 that spanned nearly two decades; and
 WHEREAS, Appointed to the board in 2001, Mr. Elliott
 graduated from the Credit Union Directors Leadership Institute two
 years later; he was designated as a Certified Credit Union
 Director; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Elliott previously served from 1987 to 1992 as a
 member of the credit union's supervisory committee, and he was its
 chair for two years; he first joined the Austin-based credit union
 in 1984; and
 WHEREAS, A veteran of the United States Air Force,
 Mr. Elliott brought to United Heritage extensive management
 experience; he attained the rank of chief master sergeant during
 his 30 years in the military and served as executive officer to the
 base commander and as command senior enlisted advisor to the wing
 commander; following his retirement in 1984, he was employed at
 Bergstrom Air Force Base as manager of the Personal Financial
 Management Program; he holds a bachelor's degree in
 education/sociology from Alabama State University; and
 WHEREAS, Grady Elliott greatly benefited United Heritage
 Credit Union through his expertise and dedication to its mission,
 and he may indeed reflect with pride on his long record of exemplary
 service; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Grady Elliott for his service on the board
 of United Heritage Credit Union and extend to him sincere best
 wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Elliott as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
