| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A caring and purposeful life drew to a close with the |

| 6 | 7 | | passing of Ruben Rodriguez on February 10, 2021, at the age of 63; |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Leonel and Isabel Rodriguez, Ruben |

| 9 | 10 | | Rodriguez grew up with nine brothers and sisters; and |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Valuing family above all else, Mr. Rodriguez was a |

| 11 | 12 | | devoted husband to his wife, Olga, and he took great pride in his |

| 12 | 13 | | eight children, Yesenia, Leonel, Ayiza, Joel, Chris, Joshua, Mary, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | and Nick, and his nine grandchildren; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Rodriguez enjoyed a rewarding career as a |

| 15 | 16 | | contractor until his retirement; strong in his faith, he served in |

| 16 | 17 | | various ministries at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, |

| 17 | 18 | | St. Paul Catholic Church, and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic |

| 18 | 19 | | Church, and he and his wife hosted many young missionaries over the |

| 19 | 20 | | years; in recognition of his contributions to his community, he was |

| 20 | 21 | | named Mr. Mission by the Progress Times in 2014; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Ruben Rodriguez |

| 22 | 23 | | leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far |

| 23 | 24 | | richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured |

| 24 | 25 | | place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
