 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Lacy Lynette Reynolds of
 Colmesneil on March 23, 2021, at the age of 18, has brought an
 unimaginable loss to the family and friends of this beloved young
 woman; and
 WHEREAS, The cherished daughter of Tony and Chrissy Reynolds,
 Lacy Reynolds was born in Lufkin on August 7, 2002; she was raised
 with the companionship of two siblings, Tyler and Gabby, and her
 circle of loved ones also included her grandparents, her
 brother-in-law, Hunter, her nephew, Tucker, and her boyfriend,
 Jordan; from her family, she learned the values of selflessness,
 kindness, and compassion, and she touched the lives of many with her
 vibrant presence and radiant smile; moreover, she found great
 strength in her faith; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Reynolds grew up competing in gymnastics, and
 she went on to become a cheerleader, displaying her talent on Friday
 nights in support of the Colmesneil Bulldogs; she was also an
 outstanding volleyball player and was known for her thunderous
 spikes that dominated the opposition; and
 WHEREAS, Although her time on this earth was far too brief,
 Lacy Reynolds was a ray of light in the lives of all those who held
 her dear, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be
 forgotten; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Lacy Lynette
 Reynolds and extend deepest condolences to the members of her
 family: to her parents, Tony and Chrissy Reynolds; to her brother,
 Tyler Reynolds; to her sister, Gabby Morgan, and her husband,
 Hunter; to her grandparents, Morrie and Beverly Apodaca and Tommy
 and Cecilia Reynolds; to her nephew, Tucker Morgan; to her
 boyfriend, Jordan James; and to her numerous other relatives and
 friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lacy
 Reynolds.
