| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Carly Joliat of Forest Lane Academy has been named a |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1977, the Superior Teaching |

| 8 | 9 | | Achievement in Richardson Schools (STARS) award recognizes |

| 9 | 10 | | exceptionally creative and innovative educators who have worked in |

| 10 | 11 | | Richardson ISD for at least two years; honorees are celebrated |

| 11 | 12 | | throughout the year and are given a $1,000 monetary prize; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, One of 10 individuals selected to receive this |

| 13 | 14 | | notable accolade for 2021, Ms. Joliat currently teaches first grade |

| 14 | 15 | | at Forest Lane Academy; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Carly Joliat exemplifies the passion, |

| 16 | 17 | | determination, and ingenuity that are the hallmarks of our best |
