R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Carly Joliat of Forest Lane Academy has been named a
2021 Richardson Independent School District STARS Teacher; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1977, the Superior Teaching
Achievement in Richardson Schools (STARS) award recognizes
exceptionally creative and innovative educators who have worked in
Richardson ISD for at least two years; honorees are celebrated
throughout the year and are given a $1,000 monetary prize; and
WHEREAS, One of 10 individuals selected to receive this
notable accolade for 2021, Ms. Joliat currently teaches first grade
at Forest Lane Academy; and
WHEREAS, Carly Joliat exemplifies the passion,
determination, and ingenuity that are the hallmarks of our best
teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all in
her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Carly Joliat on being named a 2021
Richardson Independent School District STARS Teacher and extend to
her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important
work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Joliat as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
