This bill would amend the Texas Election Code relating to persons who have indicated a lack of citizenship status in connection with a motor vehicle record or Department of Public Safety (DPS) record and would require the Secretary of State (SOS) to enter into an agreement with DPS related to these persons.According to the SOS and DPS, no significant impact is anticipated.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
