| 12 | 12 | (b) This section applies to the Tarrant County Criminal | |
| 13 | 13 | District Courts Nos. 1, 2, [and] 3, and 5. | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 2. Subchapter E, Chapter 24, Government Code, is | |
| 15 | 15 | amended by adding Section 24.915 to read as follows: | |
| 16 | 16 | Sec. 24.915. CRIMINAL JUDICIAL DISTRICT NO. 5 OF TARRANT | |
| 17 | 17 | COUNTY. (a) The Criminal Judicial District No. 5 of Tarrant County | |
| 18 | 18 | is composed of Tarrant County. | |
| 19 | 19 | (b) Section 24.910, relating to the Tarrant County Criminal | |
| 20 | 20 | District Court No. 1, contains provisions applicable to both that | |
| 21 | 21 | court and the Tarrant County Criminal District Court No. 5. | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 3. The Criminal Judicial District No. 5 of Tarrant | |
| 23 | 23 | County is created on the effective date of this Act. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
