57 relating to notice and reporting requirements for vendor rebates
68 under a contract listed on a multiple award contract schedule.
79 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
810 SECTION 1. Section 2155.510, Government Code, is amended by
911 amending Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (c) to read as
1012 follows:
1113 (b) The comptroller shall notify a state agency purchasing a
1214 good or service through a contract listed on a schedule developed
1315 under this subchapter of the percentage used to calculate the
1416 rebate authorized under Subsection (a).
1517 (c) If a purchase resulting in a rebate under this section
1618 is made in whole or in part with federal funds, the purchasing state
1719 agency [comptroller] shall ensure that, to the extent the purchase
1820 was made with federal funds, the appropriate portion of the rebate
1921 is reported to [the purchasing agency for reporting and
2022 reconciliation purposes with] the appropriate federal funding
2123 agency.
2224 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
