5	7		relating to notice and reporting requirements for vendor rebates
6	8		under a contract listed on a multiple award contract schedule.
7	9		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
8	10		SECTION 1. Section 2155.510, Government Code, is amended by
9	11		amending Subsection (b) and adding Subsection (c) to read as
10	12		follows:
11	13		(b) The comptroller shall notify a state agency purchasing a
12	14		good or service through a contract listed on a schedule developed
13	15		under this subchapter of the percentage used to calculate the
14	16		rebate authorized under Subsection (a).
15	17		(c) If a purchase resulting in a rebate under this section
16	18		is made in whole or in part with federal funds, the purchasing state
17	19		agency [comptroller] shall ensure that, to the extent the purchase
18	20		was made with federal funds, the appropriate portion of the rebate
19	21		is reported to [the purchasing agency for reporting and
20	22		reconciliation purposes with] the appropriate federal funding
21	23		agency.
22	24		SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
