| 13 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 14 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 504.315, Transportation Code, is amended | |
| 15 | 11 | by adding Subsection (r) to read as follows: | |
| 16 | 12 | (r) The department shall issue specialty license plates for | |
| 17 | 13 | recipients of the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal. License | |
| 18 | 14 | plates issued under this subsection must include the Borinqueneers | |
| 19 | 15 | Congressional Gold Medal emblem and must include the words | |
| 20 | 16 | "Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal" at the bottom of each | |
| 21 | 17 | plate. License plates issued under this subsection that are not | |
| 22 | 18 | personalized must also include the letter "B" as a prefix or suffix | |
| 23 | 19 | to the numerals on each plate. | |
