It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to a duty for peace officers to intervene and make a report when a peace officer uses excessive force could be absorbed using existing resources.This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
