4	4		SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
5	5		WHEREAS, The family and friends of Everette Wayne McBride of
6	6		Mount Pleasant suffered an immeasurable loss with his death on
7	7		February 8, 2019, at the age of 73; and
8	8		WHEREAS, Born on October 25, 1945, in Dallas, "Skip" McBride
9	9		was the son of Wayne McBride and the former Mae Deen Harris, and he
10	10		grew up with the companionship of two siblings, Judith and Mike; he
11	11		married Louise McBride, with whom he shared a rewarding union, and
12	12		he took great pride in his children, Cynthia and Dennis, his
13	13		stepchildren, Candace, Toy, Amanda, and Chelsea, and his
14	14		grandchildren, Lauren, Dillon, Hayden, Brianna, Sofia, Paige, Mya,
15	15		and Major; and
16	16		WHEREAS, Mr. McBride graduated from Woodrow Wilson High
17	17		School in Dallas, and in 1973, he attended the 30th Texas Game
18	18		Warden Training Academy at Texas A&M University; he spent 35 years
19	19		as a game warden captain in Northeast Texas, and he worked as a
20	20		Realtor with Century 21 Landmark Associates beginning in 2005; in
21	21		addition, he was a member of the Temple Masonic Lodge No. 70 in
22	22		Mount Pleasant; and
23	23		WHEREAS, Although Skip McBride is deeply missed, he has left
24	24		his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will
25	25		forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
26	26		RESOLVED, That the 87th Legislature of the State of Texas
27	27		hereby pay tribute to the life of Everette Wayne McBride and extend
28	28		sincere sympathy to the members of his family and to his friends;
29	29		and, be it further
30	30		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
31	31		prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
32	32		Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
33	33		Skip McBride.
