44 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
55 WHEREAS, The family and friends of Everette Wayne McBride of
66 Mount Pleasant suffered an immeasurable loss with his death on
77 February 8, 2019, at the age of 73; and
88 WHEREAS, Born on October 25, 1945, in Dallas, "Skip" McBride
99 was the son of Wayne McBride and the former Mae Deen Harris, and he
1010 grew up with the companionship of two siblings, Judith and Mike; he
1111 married Louise McBride, with whom he shared a rewarding union, and
1212 he took great pride in his children, Cynthia and Dennis, his
1313 stepchildren, Candace, Toy, Amanda, and Chelsea, and his
1414 grandchildren, Lauren, Dillon, Hayden, Brianna, Sofia, Paige, Mya,
1515 and Major; and
1616 WHEREAS, Mr. McBride graduated from Woodrow Wilson High
1717 School in Dallas, and in 1973, he attended the 30th Texas Game
1818 Warden Training Academy at Texas A&M University; he spent 35 years
1919 as a game warden captain in Northeast Texas, and he worked as a
2020 Realtor with Century 21 Landmark Associates beginning in 2005; in
2121 addition, he was a member of the Temple Masonic Lodge No. 70 in
2222 Mount Pleasant; and
2323 WHEREAS, Although Skip McBride is deeply missed, he has left
2424 his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will
2525 forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
2626 RESOLVED, That the 87th Legislature of the State of Texas
2727 hereby pay tribute to the life of Everette Wayne McBride and extend
2828 sincere sympathy to the members of his family and to his friends;
2929 and, be it further
3030 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3131 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
3232 Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
3333 Skip McBride.
