| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |

| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Jacquelyn Ann Wofford Wetegrove, who |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | died October 29, 2020, at the age of 67; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Jackie Wetegrove was an exemplary citizen who was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | widely admired for her contributions to her community and her |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | loving nature; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, She was born on October 22, 1953, in Seguin, and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | she attended Raymondville High School; she married Joseph |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Wetegrove on October 20, 1973, and they enjoyed 47 years of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | marriage together; they were blessed with three daughters, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Jennifer Marie Wiehrdt, Jessica Ann Ulary, and Janelle Eleanor |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Fitch; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Jackie was known affectionately to many as "Mama |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Jack," and she took great pleasure in her role as a homemaker and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | in pampering her daughters and six grandchildren; she enjoyed |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | dancing, listening to music, and taking long walks; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, A woman of kindness, honesty, and patience, she |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | gave unselfishly to others, and her love of family and friends |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will not be |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | forgotten by those who were privileged to share in her life; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | and she leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever by |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | her many loved ones; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | family of Jacquelyn Ann Wetegrove; and, be it further |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
