| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Juanita Ybarra in celebration of the grand occasion of |

| 4 | 4 | | her 104th birthday; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A woman of great charm and grace, Juanita Ybarra |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | is well known for her kind and generous spirit, and she is a |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | treasured Texan and beloved resident of the Spanish Meadows |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | community; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Ybarra was born on May 16, 1917, in Poteet, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Texas; she has lived through times and witnessed events that many |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | people can only read about in history books, and there is much to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | be learned from the valuable wisdom she has gained through the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | years; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Ybarra has been blessed with a wonderful |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | family; she married Ignacio Ybarra, and they were blessed with |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | two sons, Elias Ybarra and Eliseo Ybarra; her eight grandchildren |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and four great-grandchildren have been a source of much pride and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | joy for her; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, A devout Christian who practices her faith in her |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | daily life, Mrs. Ybarra is noted for her warmth, her wit, and her |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | wise counsel, and she inspires those around her with her enthusiasm |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | for living each day to the fullest; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby pay tribute to Juanita Ybarra and extend |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | congratulations to her in honor of her 104th birthday; and, be |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | it further |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
