| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Named in tribute to an esteemed professor |

| 6 | 6 | | emeritus, the academy has honored outstanding educators across |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the region for the past quarter century; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A first-grade teacher at Trinity Christian |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Academy, Kimberley DeNeefe has been a member of the faculty for |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | five years; she has more than two decades of experience in the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | classroom; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Ms. DeNeefe frequently works with students before |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and after class to provide extra help, and she develops strong |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | relationships with parents to better understand how to further |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | their children's academic, emotional, and spiritual development; |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | in appreciation, many former students stop by to talk to her, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | some long after their elementary school years; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Admired by all who are privileged to know her, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Kimberley DeNeefe exemplifies the dedication and commitment to |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | excellence that are the hallmarks of the best teachers, and she |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | can indeed take pride in having enriched the lives of countless |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | young Texans; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Kimberley DeNeefe on her |
