SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 533
WHEREAS, Kimberley DeNeefe was recognized by Weatherford
College at its annual Jack Harvey Academy of Exemplary Teachers
celebration on February 5, 2021; and
WHEREAS, Named in tribute to an esteemed professor
emeritus, the academy has honored outstanding educators across
the region for the past quarter century; and
WHEREAS, A first-grade teacher at Trinity Christian
Academy, Kimberley DeNeefe has been a member of the faculty for
five years; she has more than two decades of experience in the
classroom; and
WHEREAS, Ms. DeNeefe frequently works with students before
and after class to provide extra help, and she develops strong
relationships with parents to better understand how to further
their children's academic, emotional, and spiritual development;
in appreciation, many former students stop by to talk to her,
some long after their elementary school years; and
WHEREAS, Admired by all who are privileged to know her,
Kimberley DeNeefe exemplifies the dedication and commitment to
excellence that are the hallmarks of the best teachers, and she
can indeed take pride in having enriched the lives of countless
young Texans; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
Legislature, hereby congratulate Kimberley DeNeefe on her
recognition by Weatherford College at its 2021 Jack Harvey
Academy of Exemplary Teachers celebration and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success in her important work;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Ms. DeNeefe as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
