| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A highly respected entrepreneur and community |

| 6 | 6 | | leader, Ronnie Ontiveros is the owner and broker of NextHome RGV |

| 7 | 7 | | Realty and the owner and president of Med-Care EMS and of |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Lifeguard Aeromed; a native of Kingsville, she learned the value |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | of hard work at an early age, and she attended Texas A&M |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | University--Kingsville and The University of Texas at Arlington; |

| 11 | 11 | | and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, She holds a real estate broker's license, and she |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | established NextHome RGV Realty in 2018; the firm has already |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | become one of the fastest-growing agencies in South Texas, and in |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 2020, the firm was ranked in the top 25 percent of NextHome |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | franchises in the country and was named a Pinnacle Office Award |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | winner; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Ronnie's Med-Care EMS provides exceptional |

| 19 | 19 | | emergency services and mutual assistant aid in cities across the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Rio Grande Valley, and her Lifeguard Aeromed is one of the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | leading providers of international critical medical care flights |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | in the region; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Ronnie is active in a wide range of professional |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | and civic organizations, including the Greater McAllen |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Association of Realtors, the Texas Ambulance Association, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | multiple chambers of commerce, Comfort House, and the Boys and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Girls Club of McAllen; it is truly fitting that she receive |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | special recognition for her exceptional leadership and many |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |

| 31 | 31 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Veronica |

| 32 | 32 | | Ontiveros on her many contributions to the quality of life in the |

| 33 | 33 | | Rio Grande Valley and extend to her best wishes for continued |
