SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 31
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Veronica "Ronnie" Ontiveros for her outstanding
service to the people of the Rio Grande Valley; and
WHEREAS, A highly respected entrepreneur and community
leader, Ronnie Ontiveros is the owner and broker of NextHome RGV
Realty and the owner and president of Med-Care EMS and of
Lifeguard Aeromed; a native of Kingsville, she learned the value
of hard work at an early age, and she attended Texas A&M
University--Kingsville and The University of Texas at Arlington;
and
WHEREAS, She holds a real estate broker's license, and she
established NextHome RGV Realty in 2018; the firm has already
become one of the fastest-growing agencies in South Texas, and in
2020, the firm was ranked in the top 25 percent of NextHome
franchises in the country and was named a Pinnacle Office Award
winner; and
WHEREAS, Ronnie's Med-Care EMS provides exceptional
emergency services and mutual assistant aid in cities across the
Rio Grande Valley, and her Lifeguard Aeromed is one of the
leading providers of international critical medical care flights
in the region; and
WHEREAS, Ronnie is active in a wide range of professional
and civic organizations, including the Greater McAllen
Association of Realtors, the Texas Ambulance Association,
multiple chambers of commerce, Comfort House, and the Boys and
Girls Club of McAllen; it is truly fitting that she receive
special recognition for her exceptional leadership and many
accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Veronica
Ontiveros on her many contributions to the quality of life in the
Rio Grande Valley and extend to her best wishes for continued
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
