| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, James Lovett of Bay City, a retired game warden, |

| 6 | 7 | | passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving his loved |

| 7 | 8 | | ones with a wealth of memories to cherish; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born on October 22, 1955, Jim Lovett was the son of |

| 9 | 10 | | William and Dorothy Lovett and the brother of seven siblings, Joe, |

| 10 | 11 | | Anne, Kathleen, Mary, Laura, Amy, and Teresa; after graduating from |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Jasper High School in 1973, he enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | University and earned his bachelor's degree in 1979; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Lovett was a longtime resident of Bay City, |

| 14 | 15 | | where he served his fellow citizens for over two decades as a Texas |

| 15 | 16 | | game warden; during his leisure hours, he took pleasure in hunting, |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | fishing, and playing golf, and he also loved race cars; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Jim Lovett lived an honorable life of service to his |

| 18 | 19 | | fellow Texans, and he will always be remembered with admiration and |

| 19 | 20 | | affection by those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory |
