 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, James Lovett of Bay City, a retired game warden,
 passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving his loved
 ones with a wealth of memories to cherish; and
 WHEREAS, Born on October 22, 1955, Jim Lovett was the son of
 William and Dorothy Lovett and the brother of seven siblings, Joe,
 Anne, Kathleen, Mary, Laura, Amy, and Teresa; after graduating from
 Jasper High School in 1973, he enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State
 University and earned his bachelor's degree in 1979; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Lovett was a longtime resident of Bay City,
 where he served his fellow citizens for over two decades as a Texas
 game warden; during his leisure hours, he took pleasure in hunting,
 fishing, and playing golf, and he also loved race cars; and
 WHEREAS, Jim Lovett lived an honorable life of service to his
 fellow Texans, and he will always be remembered with admiration and
 affection by those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
 of James Lovett and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his
 family: to his mother, Dorothy Lovett; to his brother, Joe Lovett;
 to his sisters, Anne Williams and her husband, Gary, Kathleen
 Hughes and her husband, David, Mary Mitchell and her husband, Mike,
 Laura Burnett and her husband, Phil, Amy Racke and her husband,
 Mike, and Teresa McElroy; and to his other relatives and friends;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of James
 Lovett.
