| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Chris Wilson was born on December 11, 1977; after |

| 10 | 11 | | graduating from Cameron High School in Milam County, he studied and |

| 11 | 12 | | played football at Tarleton State University and Sam Houston State |

| 12 | 13 | | University, earning his bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | minor in history from SHSU; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, On January 1, 2004, Mr. Wilson graduated as a member |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | of the 50th Game Warden Cadet Class, and he began his TPWD career as |

| 16 | 17 | | a game warden in San Saba County before moving to Bell County; in |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | December 2016, he was promoted to sergeant special investigator |

| 18 | 19 | | with responsibility for investigating complex environmental crimes |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | as well as threats against game wardens and park police officers; |
|---|

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Sergeant Wilson's warm smile and calm strength |

| 22 | 23 | | served him well in his work, enabling him to pacify difficult |

| 23 | 24 | | situations in the field and earning him the respect and admiration |

| 24 | 25 | | of the public and his fellow officers; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Although he was taken much too soon, Chris Wilson |

| 26 | 27 | | leaves behind a legacy of valiant and dedicated service that will |

| 27 | 28 | | continue to inspire all those who knew and loved him; now, |
