| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Gonzalez has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 7 | 7 | | Ann Johnson during the 87th Legislature; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, With his resourcefulness and initiative, |

| 9 | 9 | | Mr. Gonzalez has earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his |

| 10 | 10 | | contributions to carrying forth Representative Johnson's |

| 11 | 11 | | legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens |

|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, In his role as deputy legislative director, |

| 14 | 14 | | Mr. Gonzalez has provided detailed analyses of a variety of bills, |

| 15 | 15 | | resolved concerns from constituents, and trained new interns; he |

| 16 | 16 | | previously served as a legislative aide and grants manager in the |

| 17 | 17 | | office of State Representative Ryan Guillen, as a legislative aide |

| 18 | 18 | | in the office of State Senator Beverly Powell, and as a policy |

| 19 | 19 | | analyst in the office of State Senator José Menéndez; a graduate of |

| 20 | 20 | | The University of Texas at Austin, he holds a bachelor's degree in |

| 21 | 21 | | government with a minor in history; and |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |

| 23 | 23 | | duties as deputy legislative director with skill and dedication, |

| 24 | 24 | | and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; |
