 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Robert Gonzalez has ably served his fellow Texans as
 deputy legislative director in the office of State Representative
 Ann Johnson during the 87th Legislature; and
 WHEREAS, With his resourcefulness and initiative,
 Mr. Gonzalez has earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his
 contributions to carrying forth Representative Johnson's
 legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens
 across the Lone Star State; and
 WHEREAS, In his role as deputy legislative director,
 Mr. Gonzalez has provided detailed analyses of a variety of bills,
 resolved concerns from constituents, and trained new interns; he
 previously served as a legislative aide and grants manager in the
 office of State Representative Ryan Guillen, as a legislative aide
 in the office of State Senator Beverly Powell, and as a policy
 analyst in the office of State Senator José Menéndez; a graduate of
 The University of Texas at Austin, he holds a bachelor's degree in
 government with a minor in history; and
 WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his
 duties as deputy legislative director with skill and dedication,
 and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Robert Charles
 Gonzalez for his service as deputy legislative director in the
 office of State Representative Ann Johnson and extends its
 sincerest best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
