SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 74
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Sarah Lynn Bergen and John Paul Borrego on the joyous
occasion of their marriage; and
WHEREAS, Sarah Bergen and John Borrego married on November
20, 2021; they first met in 2019 by a chance encounter at Kirby
Ice House in Houston; they maintained a deepening long-distance
relationship until Sarah moved to Austin; John proposed to Sarah
on July 19, 2020; and
WHEREAS, The newlyweds are looking forward to spending a
lifetime sharing their love and mutual respect, and their marriage
brings great happiness to their families and friends; and
WHEREAS, The Texas Senate wishes to express warmest
greetings to Sarah Bergen and John Borrego as they begin their
new life together; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby extend its best wishes to
Sarah Bergen and John Borrego and wish them many years of
happiness together; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of esteem from the
Texas Senate.
