| 8 | 8 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 9 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | is amended by adding Section 225.217 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Sec. 225.217. ARMY STAFF SERGEANT CLAY ALLEN CRAIG MEMORIAL |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | BRIDGE. (a) The Farm to Market Road 2348 bridge in Titus County |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | that is located on the portion of Farm to Market Road 2348 between |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | State Highway 49 and United States Highway 67 is designated as the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Army Staff Sergeant Clay Allen Craig Memorial Bridge. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (1) design and construct markers indicating the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | designation as the Army Staff Sergeant Clay Allen Craig Memorial |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Bridge and any other appropriate information; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (2) erect a marker at each end of the bridge. |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
