| 8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 314.003, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 10 | 10 | adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (d) If a revised fiscal note is prepared for the same | |
| 12 | 12 | version of a bill or resolution, the revised fiscal note and the | |
| 13 | 13 | fiscal note that was revised must be printed and remain with the | |
| 14 | 14 | bill or resolution in accordance with Subsections (b) and (c). In | |
| 15 | 15 | preparing the revised fiscal note, the board must include a | |
| 16 | 16 | statement describing the differences between the revised fiscal | |
| 17 | 17 | note and the fiscal note being revised. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
