A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to revised fiscal notes.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 314.003, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
(d) If a revised fiscal note is prepared for the same
version of a bill or resolution, the revised fiscal note and the
fiscal note that was revised must be printed and remain with the
bill or resolution in accordance with Subsections (b) and (c). In
preparing the revised fiscal note, the board must include a
statement describing the differences between the revised fiscal
note and the fiscal note being revised.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023.
