| 11 | 12 | | in trust fund assets on behalf of more than 915 participating Texas |

|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, TMRS currently serves more than 210,000 members, |

| 14 | 15 | | retirees, and beneficiaries, and helps ensure their financial |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | security by providing retirement, disability, and death benefits; |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | the benefit payments made to TMRS members contribute billions of |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | dollars to the Texas economy and its communities; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Over the past three-quarters of a century, TMRS has |

| 19 | 20 | | helped provide many Texans with peace of mind as they prepare for |

| 20 | 21 | | retirement, and the organization is indeed deserving of special |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | recognition on this important milestone in its history; now, |
