The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $204,406. The House Joint Resolution proposes a constitutional amendment relating to the right to own, hold, and use a mutually agreed upon medium of exchange.Based on the analysis of the Office of the Attorney General and the Department of Banking, any duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the House Joint Resolution could be accomplished by the agencies utilizing existing resources.
