| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, IDEA Achieve Academy and College Prep in Haltom City |

| 6 | 6 | | has earned an A rating for the 2021-2022 school year from the Texas |

| 7 | 7 | | Education Agency; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Headquartered in Weslaco, IDEA Public Schools was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | established in 2000 with the mission to create high-performing |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | schools for disadvantaged children with a focus on college |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | preparation, matriculation, and graduation; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, In 2019, IDEA Tarrant County was founded with |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Achieve Academy and College Prep as one of its flagship campuses; |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | currently serving nearly 1,100 students in kindergarten through |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | ninth grade, the school plans to continue to add more grade levels |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | until the Class of 2026 becomes the high school's inaugural |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | graduating class; IDEA Achieve is ably guided by principals |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Giovanni Outram and Deshanta Gooden; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, For four years, IDEA Achieve Academy and College |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Prep has promoted educational excellence and college readiness, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | in so doing, it has helped countless students in Tarrant County |

| 22 | 22 | | reach their full potential; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby congratulate IDEA Achieve Academy and College |

| 25 | 25 | | Prep on achieving an A rating from the Texas Education Agency and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | extend to all those involved with the school sincere best wishes for |

| 27 | 27 | | continued success; and, be it further |
